創作舞台「清姫恋狂い」 – Kiyohime Koigurui

初めて大作の振付を任された舞台。
語りと三味線談義で綴る約90分の大作で、安珍清姫の物語を描きました。
安珍に捨てられた清姫が白蛇へと姿を変え、日高川をのぼる場面では、大道具によって川が再現され、その頂上で「ここで暴れぇや！」と声をかけられ、思い切ってエビ反りに挑戦しました。
舞台の上では怖さも忘れ、役そのものに没入できたのを覚えています。
終演後、友人が「女遊びは怖いな、気ぃつけよ」と笑っていたのを聞き、舞踊を通じて何かを伝えられたようで嬉しく思いました。
Kiyohime Koigurui (Mad with Love)
Premiered in 2009, this 90-minute stage piece retold the tragic legend of Kiyohime and Anchin.
In the climactic scene, I embodied Kiyohime’s transformation into a serpent ascending the river, even daring an arched-back leap atop a stage-built “river.”
It was my first large-scale choreography, a work of passion and discovery.
創作舞台「清姫の怨念」 – Kiyohime no Onnen

「清姫恋狂い」を約30分に再構成した作品。
短縮版にしたことで各地で上演の機会が増え、道成寺物の世界をより多くの方に届けることができました。
舞台ごとに清姫の髪型を爆発させたり、風変わりなアレンジを加えたりと、舞踊以外でも楽しめた作品でもあります。
清姫が白蛇の姿で石段をのぼり、鐘に巻きつく場面では、三味線談義の緩急が非常に面白く、それを舞踊で表したいと奮闘しました。
今振り返れば力不足な点もありましたが、この挑戦が後の道成寺物を踊る経験につながったと感じています。
Kiyohime no Onnen (The Resentment of Kiyohime)
Reworked in 2011 into a 30-minute version, this piece was performed at the National Cultural Festival in Kyoto and beyond.
The work allowed me to experiment not only with dance but also with bold stage appearances, while further exploring the dramatic intensity of the Dōjōji tradition.
清姫伝説は、日本舞踊において最も人気のある題材のひとつです。
私にとって「清姫恋狂い」と「清姫の怨念」は、挑戦と学びを与えてくれた大切な作品。
これからも形を変えながら踊り続けていきたいと思います。
The legend of Kiyohime remains one of the most captivating subjects in Nihon Buyo.
For me, these works were milestones—filled with challenge, growth, and the joy of embodying timeless drama.
